Colombian fans have been banned from using flour and shaving foam in the Colombian capital of Bogota. Colombia are playing their World Cup quarter final match against Brazil today. The Bogota local authority tweeted:

“Flour use and foam in the public space of the city is hereby PROHIBITED”

The fans often celebrate by covering each other in shaving foam and making flour ‘bombs’, but the local authority want to cut this out as it often leads to fights.

Alcohol has already been banned for the same reason. Violence against women in Bogota has increased 200% when Colombia have been playing, which is thought to largely be down to alcohol.
