“Rooney looks a bit chubby” – Vegard Forren

Norwegian defender Vegard Forren questions Wayne Rooney’s fitness ahead of the friendly between England and Norway:

Rooney looks a bit chubby. England are obviously good players, and many of them are on good form already, but we’re looking forward to it.

He isn’t the first and won’t be the last to make such a remark!

England might have ended up winning the friendly 1-0 with Rooney scoring a penalty, but he will yet again be ridiculed after another lacklustre performance.
